Today in vegetables nutrition I would like to share a little secret with you. It’s somethingvery special and dear to my heart and mind, and so I would appreciate your attention. You see, for the past months I have been sharing all this nutritional information with you, really trying to give the the most accurate information I can without going in to hard and complicated technical ideas and heavy nutritional talk. I did that, and plan on keeping on doing that, as I really believe that sometimes – too much knowledge is just a pain, and it is best to know enough to do the right thing and keep our health and the health of our family at the highest place possible. It is sometimes challenging writing in a way everyone understands (Or at least I would like to believe most of my readers do..), while giving enough diet information to really make a different in peoples decision making when it comes to food. So today, I want to share a source of information, knowledge, and most of all, Inspiration. It is THE absolute most favourite number one best nutrition book on my shelfe – not that it ever get to stay on the shelve for more then a day or two, when i’m not in the house.
Vegetables Nutrition and the bond with health
While writing this vegetables nutrition page, this one book really makes a difference for me. The thing with this book is that it combines the ancient knowledge of the east, with nowadays science. It gives the deep understanding of nature and the world around us, beautifully explained with the scientific knowledge of the modern age. It is a book where cultures meet and share ideas, thoughts, knowledge, as well as questions, and try to compliment one another for the benefit of the reader. It is a book that represents the way the world should really be.
In a world where the Mc’d and Coke are the dominant culture, that devours what ever it meets in it’s path to a global-mc’-nation, having a book like this to remind us that cultures are not gone for good is like have a light at the end of the tunnel, reminding us and showing us over and over that there is another way. This book takes us through a journey of knowledge and understanding of nutrition and life style, as it shares recipes for health brought from the far far east, and explains ”food” to us modern people, who have forgotten the truth. How many of us can grow a tomato?? how many really know if a tomato is Acidic or not? Is it good for toothaches? maybe for headaches? Is it a fruit or a vegetables…?? Is it best eaten only organic, or does it even matter??
Vegetables nutrition – “mom, my head hurts…”
This book is there for us when our stomach hurts and we are not sure what to do. It helps us figure out what should be our next move, in an elegant and smoothly explained matter, introducing knowledge of both past and modern science. By doing so, it allows such a deep insight of things, with so little words. When your kid is crying with pain in his ears, little did you know you can help him out by taking this food of his plate, and adding another. Wouldn’t you like to be able to just pick up a book from the shelve, searching for “ear”, and having it all there – the nutritional facts, what food to eat, what to avoid, what natural remedy you can easily make and how to know if you should heat it up or cool it off?
I know I would love to know those things, and being a Chinese doctor, I feel so connected to this book that has combined both my passions for healing – Nutrition for health and Chinese medicine. So that is my secret – and now it is yours. If ever you thought what book you should have at home, it is this one. This one is enough for most things you need to deal at home. If the situation is so complex you can’t fix yourself, you might as well go to see the doctor. If it is still simple enough – That book has the answer to your question.
